know  what we got going on. We gettin'   
ready to do this thing this Saturday night on
HBO. So u gone put him down, huh ? Hell yeah !!

It’s More Than Personal.  May 15th at the Mandolay
Bay, here in Las Vegas. It’s the biggest thing in the
game right now. We wish u much success. Yeah,
thanx man. I  got my man Grandaddy Souf over
here. He’s my come out man. My music guy. He
makes my songs that I come out to. A lot of respect.
I’ve seen him climb. I feel that right now, he’s got a
hot product. They sleepin’ on him. I feel that it’s time  
that they let him out. Let him on out the gate, and let
him get his foothold on this rap game. He’s one of
the most underrated, under promoted artists with real
hot stuff.  U know what I mean ? They need to come
on out and recognize. When u look at the dirty dirty -
The dirty South...... my man Grandaddy Souf’s got it
goin’ on. He really do. If he wasn’t the truth, I wouldn't
be speakin’ on him. He’s mastered his craft and
it’s just time that they unveil him now. The man is
the truth just like I am. I’m the best at what I do.
Know what I’m sayin ? It’s time to let him reap the   
rewards of all his hard work. He’s just one of those
conscious rappers who’s talkin’ on that truth thing,
even though he’s keepin’ it dirty. Souf is a new pio -
neer out here. But he’s gotta first be given the
opportunity. U know, without opportunity, we’re lost -
man. So the record company needs to come togeth -
er !! Thanx for giving us this time. We’re gonna
be watching that fight. Yeah man, we gone tear
Vegas up when it’s  over.

Two days after this interview, Antonio Tarver went on  
to beat Roy Jones Jr. in the second round to become  
the WBC Light Heavyweight Champ.
