It was rumored awhile back that u signed a deal with Jive - is that true ?

It was a deal for my song, “My Mississippi,” to be on the Violator album - “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly Volume 3.” I’m gettin’ ready to go back and see if they’ll buy my new album .

Explain that !

I signed a contract with Jive for 3 albums. They get to choose which albums they wanna pick.

So if they don’t pick up an album that you’re workin’ on, do u get to release it on your own label ?

Correct ! My new album, Cotton Fields and Cadillacs, will be released January 20th on Lokee Records.

How did your deal with Jive happen ?

They heard about me thru a relative of mine at Bad Boy. They were lookin’ for new southern artists at the time.

What else have u been up to ?

I got an album called Unsolved Mysteries with Big Bull - that’ll be on my label (Dirt Nation), Big Bull’s label (Dirdy Boy), and Lokee Records. I got a new group on my label, Pedigree, they’ll be releasing an album called Blue/Black this Spring. My mix-tape, Resurrection in Grind Mode will be released by Zomba.
