The new lady on Cash Money Records will have two great blessings in the beginn- ing of 2005. Her second daughter in February, and her new album. The video "Yeah, Yeah" for her 3rd album,"The Lil Mo Hr.," has already been premiered on 106 & Park, but Lil Mo is more than debuts and hype - she is hip and fresh, with beats and harmony out of this world. The new album has 18 tracks of inspiration - for Lil Mo never comprises her morals and beliefs for industry dollars. Let's remember, Lil Mo is the one who keeps her bottom covered and her hair forever changing colors. But, everything in this singers' life hasn't been sweet. Not to long ago, in 2003, the artist was attacked after a perfor - mance in San Francisco, when where she had to have stitches in her head. The woman, mother, and strong believer in Christ, has bounced back 110%. Her production company, Honey Child Entertain - ment Inc., which she created in 1996, is in full swing. Lil Mo's goal for the company is to find the best writers, and artists - develop and manage them. Danny Rock is one of the writers who actually co-wrote a song on her new album ready to be dropped on April 12, 2005.

Lil Mo stuck to her same winning routine and did the majority of the
writing on this album. And of course she has a song with none other than Fabolous. Lil Mo isn't superstitious, but she does what she feels comfortable with. She says, "I'm not trying to sound or do what everybody else is. I don't
show my body. I don't have a clothing line, or do movies. Most of these clothes people buy, shrink the first time you wash them. And I don't do things for money because that makes you a prostitute". It's refreshing to hear one entertainer
that isn't selling her body or soul for corporate dollars. Lil Mo's major focus, she said, is making sure her kids go to good schools and maybe in the future help design lipliners and lipsticks. Lil Mo, who is currently living in Baltimore, is also looking forward to seeing Donavan McNabb lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl Victory. Lil Mo is a rare entertainer because of her humble ways. What makes the entertainer this way and how does she feel about the current state of the rap and r&b music industry? She replies, "I see these stars who have no focus and go crazy, and can't be told anything, and then I see these guys play the thug role, but I bet if they got drafted for war we would see tears in their eyes. I just stay focused and remember no matter, what I'm still a
mother".

Lil Mo has so much to share with the world that an interview wouldn't be complete without asking for her thoughts on the Tsunami that struck eleven countries recently. Lil Mo said, "I'm a church girl, and all these natural disasters are a sign of the times and people shouldn't be surprised, but I like the way we all bonded together and donated money for people we never met.” How did you feel on the Presidential elections? "Some people are destined by God to be Presi- dent". Besides music Lil Mo has a future in motivational speaking and is currently being filmed by people in her camp for a small DVD project called "Lil Mo Behind the Scenes.” Lil Mo doesn't believe it will ever be produced in mass production, but jokingly said she could turn it into a reality show and bootleg it herself, therefore she will get all the money and control the hands it gets into.

Only time will tell if the majority of us will every see Lil Mo's raw footage, but her album is set to be released April 12, 2005 in a store, not a burner near you.
