Ms. Keke, what are some of the things you’re
involed in ?
Keke : I call myself “The Queen of
Mississippi.” I’m the number one street team promoter.
I have Fokus Management Group, a promotion company at paperwurk.com,
and a record label called Monsta Entertainment, LLC. Our artist,
Workhorse, will drop this spring. I’ve completed my first
book, The Book Of Fokus - Stay Fokused Vol. 1 and I’m working
on my second book, The Book Of Fokus - Chasing Dreams Vol. 2.
I’m unpublished right now. I’m still looking for a
publisher.
Who are some of the artists you’ve
helped promote ?
Keke : I started the first David Banner
fan club in the state of Mississippi.
You’re a part of The M.A.P. (Mississippi
Artists and Producers) Coalition - what’s your role ?
Keke : I’m the “First Lady.”
Do u only promote hip - hop/ r&b artists
?
Keke : I started out helping my father.
We worked with gospel artists. I support independent artists.
My focus is on Mississippi. I’m back and forth between Mississippi
and Atlanta. Even when I’m not in Mississippi, I’m
out there promoting my people.
So what is it that you’re hoping
to accomplish ?
Keke : I just wanna take over the world.
I wanna do it all. I’m primarily known for my promotion.
But I feel like I can do so many things. Promotion, managment,
my label, my writing - all of that.
