not 2 be another kiddy / teen rapper, or fad, 15 year old rapper
- Young Short A. is already tuning people in to her music.
The Jackson, Mississippi native has been
into music since age 4, and rapping since age 9. With influences
including the best selling female group of all time, TLC, Missy,
Da Brat, and Foxy Brown, Young Short A. will definitely bring
something different 2 the table. She states that - music, mainly
rap / hip hop, is like part of her soul. With a passion so deep
for it, you’ll notice it in her music. Short A. (whose real
name is Angela Thomas) is becoming known in her hometown for spitting
fast, razor sharp, on point lyrics, and has won battles against
emcees twice her age.
Not only is she musically gifted, but she’s
received numerous awards for her academics in her past schools
(she’s now home schooling). She recently had a poem published
in a poetry book called Eternal Portrait Series is is being released
nationwide. Short A. was recently featured in a section on new
artists in Right On ! Magazine, November 2003 issue.
With many dreams, including : becoming
an actress, an entrepreneur, and at the moment - writing a movie
script, there is no doubt that this kid can do it.
