It was definitely a great experi-
ence talking with Bizzy
Bone! Despite what many
people think of him, he finally
has his life on track! While he doesn't
completely rule out new material with
Bone Thugs~n~Harmony, there's no
question that he's currently not a mem
ber of the group! He speaks candidly
about all that went down, from his
being kicked out of the group to
everything that's going down with him
now and his solo career! He's definitely
got a story to tell, and we've got it all,
word for word! Welcome To Bizzy's
World!

How's it going man?

Bizzy Bone: It's going just fine, how are you doing?
I'm doing real good!

First off, I just want to thank you and
your people for contacting us and
agreeing to do the story with us.

Bizzy Bone: Let me tell you, it goes
back & forth like Redman & Method
Man. It's gratitude extending from our
end as well!

To start things off, we
haven't heard very much from you
since the release of Thug World
Order. What have you been into?

Bizzy Bone: I've just been working very
very hard, constantly staying in the studio. I
mean, sometimes I kinda wish I had a cam -
era following me everywhere I went so every-
body can see I'm still living with all these trials
and tribulations I'm going through, and it
seems like I'm going through so much for
nobody to know about it! I mean, so many
things. So many collaborations I do with differ
ent artists, that never get heard. So I just been
out there, you know, on the road, working that
chittlin’ circuit, just doing what I have to do
to survive?

So right now, are you looking to
remain solo, or is the group still together?

Bizzy Bone: Well what actually happened, and
I don't think nobody knows this, but after we
supposedly "had a problem", and that's the
reason why I couldn't go chill or whatever with
the group, and it was a few things I was going
through, trust and believe, nothing that noone
else on the planet goes through, but I got put
out the group. I don't know if anybody reading
this has ever seen the Temptations, but go
and look up the Temptations movie and look
up the part where they gave David Ruffin the
paperwork putting him out the group, with the
manager in the background. That was the
same thing I went through, except I ain't snap
out like y'all need me, I just took it like salt and
dealt with it, and here we are. We been doing
our thing thus far. I'm actually not in Bone
Thugs~n~Harmony. I'm contractually put out of
the group, and you know, I didn't say anything.
If this is what you fellas want, then cool.

So is that for good now? Is it over?

Bizzy Bone: I don't know man, you know, me?
I talk to Krayzie, I talk to Wish, I talk to Layzie,
all the time, but that conversation never comes
up. That's something that is never brought up,
like are you guys gonna bring me back in the
group, you know, make a little press statement
saying Biz is coming back. Give the proper
paperwork since you went about it in the pro
fessional way and business way. You need to
go about it the same way to get me back into
the fold. That way, we got contracts and I don't
find myself out in the cold because of old
paperwork saying I'm not really in the group,
and I don't have to complain about not getting
paid, again! That is the situation I'm trying to
not have, but I talk to them all the time, and
they always saying we need to do this. I'm like
whatever. I'm in Ohio. I can throw a rock in
Cleveland and hit Lake Erie from where I'm
standing at, so I'm right here. I'm not going
nowhere. If anything, I never like to leave
Ohio, as opposed to not doing what I'm sup
posed to do.

So how is everything looking
as far as your solo career? I see that
you've been working on a new album that
you're ready to put out.

Bizzy Bone: Yea, it's looking real good. This is my third solo album!
Heaven'z Movie did terrific, fantastic. We've
finally been able to touch, we've done a lot of
roadwork, I think we reach platinum success
with Heaven'z Movie. That & the Gift were
independent albums. Now we have Alpha &
Omega, which is a film slash record. We're
giving the film away for free. It's based on the
beginning to the ending. I'm here from the
beginning to the ending. This is my train of
thought, this is what my spirit is. This is
what my spirit encompasses inside, the
things that I go through…. Your solo
material has always been a slight
departure from what we've become
used to hearing from you with Bone
Thugs! Is that something that was
intentional, or did it just come out
that way in the creative process?

Bizzy Bone: Well you know, my legacy
will not be ouija boards, painted faces,
looking at shit backwards in the mirror
to see what it really says, that's not my
legacy! My legacy is who I am, it's
Heaven'z Movie, The Gift, and Alpha
Omega, as opposed to every last one
of my albums having the thug moniker
on it. That's who I am. That's the spiri
tuality that I not only bring to the table,
but also just evolves around me. It's
how I walk. That's why you notice in a
lot of the earlier interviews, I didn't say
anything. I just shut up and let every
one else talk. I just stayed liquored up, I
stayed chroniced up, and I just kept
everything to myself. I felt like I was still
learning and I still had a lot of time, and
I had a lot of youth on me to be trying
to open my mouth and act like I knew
anything. So, that's all that counts.

Getting into some of the things that
you have gone through mentally and
emotionally, it was around the
release of your first album that you
went on America's Most Wanted and talked
about how you were abused. How hard and
how much pressure was there for you to
come forward?

Bizzy Bone: It was a lot by
not saying nothing really. That was more pres
sure than anything. I guess that was my way
of not only saying to myself, but since my life
was on blast and since people are in my busi
ness anyway….I'm like, you acting like you
know me, but you don't really know who you
fuckin with. You really don't know that I'm sup
posed to be here. This has nothing to do with
"well if you're not with Bone then that shit's not
going to work". That don't got shit to do with it,
cause I been on the news, I been singing and
shit. This is where I'm supposed to be. This is
the avenue that we come through, but it does
not mean this is it! I will not drink myself to
death either, and you're going to understand
who I am! That's why I'm here. I'm not here
because of just one thing. It's a chain reaction.
And it was something that was festering inside
of myself. It's like a broken picture. I got a pic-
ture of myself as a child, and a picture of
myself as an adult. The picture where I'm a
child, the glass is broken off of that. That's the
essence and the vibe of doing that interview.
Now what that enemy think of me? Let that go!
