While in the press room at the Ludacris
/ Chingy concert (Canton, MS), we caught up with the hillarious
up and coming comic, Shawty. Shawty, as some of u may know, has
been featured many times on BET’s Comic View, and in several
rap videos. The one that stands out most would be the intro 2
Bone Crusher’s video, “Neva Scared.” He’s
the guy tryin’ 2 get into the night club with his friends,
but security’s holdin’ em back. He proceeds 2 ask
the crowd, “What my name is ?”, and they respond with
- “Shaaaw day.”

We all know u from BET’s Comic view.
How has that show helped your career ?
BET’s great man, but they cheap as
hell. They don’t pay worth a damn. They help a lot though,
as far as exposure.
What’s next for ya ?
Finna get one of these girls and go 2
the hotel. Naw..... we went down 2 the Source Awards. So I got
a new dvd comin’ out called “The Source From Behind.”
I got about 4 videos. Lil’ Scrappy (Head Bussas), Trillville
(Neva Eva), DTP(20), and Nelly (Tip Drill - Uncut).
